A new semester has begun, and with it new courses to face.

Personally, when I saw the title of this course I found it interesting because nowadays technology is a very important factor, although it has advantages and disadvantages, little by little it has become a fundamental tool in teaching and as a future teacher I think it is important to teach this class, because by the time I teach technology will be a thousand times more important as it is now and not having knowledge about the necessary tools to be able to plan and develop a class will be a big problem.

In my day to day I don’t consider myself such a technological person in the academic field, I know how to use the basic tools. However, that leads me to think about Professor Rocio’s classes, with interactive presentations that include games and stories that as it goes by it leaves you with a lesson that makes me realize that my current knowledge only scratches the surface of what technology can offer in education.

Throughout this course I hope to acquire new skills for my future, as I’m a believer that teaching can be mixed with technology to provide a more didactic process in the development of children, especially in these times where for them technology is practically their life haha. This includes learning how to use digital educational platforms, collaborative learning applications and multimedia resources that can capture and maintain the interest of students, which is an important part. I’m interested in how technology can facilitate more personalized and accessible teaching, adapting to the individual needs of students and promoting more dynamic and interactive learning. Thanks to the advancement of technology nowadays we can use different games that our students play regularly and bring them to a pedagogical approach which for them will be a great motivation to capture their attention and they can learn while they enjoy playing.

Finally, with this class I seek to prepare myself to ensure a complete and inclusive learning environment within the classroom.
